A very pleasant hostess and attentive waitress, well portioned flavorful food and a nice clean setting made for a very pleasant experience. First time here and I'd definitely like to come back for other selections from the menu. Parking is at a premium since they're on a busy corner so I ended up having to park a block away and walk since I have a truck/trailer combo.

Stopped by my old stomping grounds tonight when I was in town. The new restaurant is doing a great job from what I can see. Very clean inside. It could have used a bit work on the ambiance though. Lights were on bright and there wasn't any music playing in the place. That felt a bit odd for 7pm dinner time. I had an open face prime rib and my wife had some kind of cajun shrimp dish. I didn't catch the name of it. Food was really good. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is the option to order the prime rib at a desired temp. Med well is not my personal favorite for prime rib. I would definitely recommend saving some room for that caramel toffee dessert thing. It was great.I wondered the whole time I was there if there was still all that insanely creepy stuff in the basement. Back in the day, it looked like something out of a horror movie down there. :) Glad to see someone was able to bring that space back to life.

We have been a few times to Blu now. The service has been great and the food very flavorful. We have ordered a number of the street tacos, including the Bourbon Glazed Salmon, the Shrimp and bacon. From the entree side, we have ordered the Shrimp Dinner, and for dessert we have ordered the Caramel Butter Toffee Cake. For some reason we have failed to take pictures of the dishes with the exception of the Toffee Cake. We will make Blu a normal stop to eat in town.Update 12/11/24. Stopped by Blu on the way home from work. Ordered the carnitas tacos special. As always, the flavor and service were excellent and the portions were good. Excellent stop after work.

Excellent food and beautiful atmosphere. I bought my wife here on a date and the service was absolutely phenomenal. The Mango Martini and Chocolate martini were great. The food was well presented and exceeded any expectations. Great value! Highly recommend! I will definitely return in the future!

First time coming to this restaurant and it was really great! Definitely surprised by it! Boyfriend just got back from Germany and got the schnitzel to see how it was and he thought it was delicious! We have a very attentive server ( Dylan) who did an amazing job!

Definitely recommend checking this place out. The food was so delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was so nice. Can’t wait to go back and try this place again. Impressed, especially on a busy night like Valentine’s Day. Five stars! Found my new favorite in JC.

Second visit to Blu Restaurant & Bar in Junction City and it's still my favorite! The interior's unique, historical charm complements the incredibly flavorful food perfectly. A must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Their home-smoked Crown and Coke was absolutely delicious—a must-try! On top of that, their service is top-notch, making every visit an exceptional dining experience.
